Global Connections in Education 2008

This year I have been quite stressed, but the previous quote has been something that has gotten me through so far.

It's funny, as a kid I always wanted to be a teacher, but now I'm not so sure. I used to say that I wanted to be a teacher because of the feeling that I got when the lightbulb when on above their head, when the finally understand what I've been trying to teach them. I don't seem to be getting that that at all right now. In an attempt to fulfill this requirement, I went in search for some inspiration. Being someone that has somewhat turned away from the church in the most recent years, I find it intriguing that this, has provided me with the most inspiration...

So here's to the rest of you...I hope you have the support that you need to fulfill your dreams, and make the difference in the life of a child.

In China, Teacher's Day is on Sep 10. On this day, teachers will always receive flowers and gifts from their students. I am still not a teacher and I am firmly determined to be a teacher after graudation. It is the most desirable and holiest profession in my heart.

You could do something to transform student's life and to find something you’re passionate about, and do it for a living. Lucky you!^^
