I believe that Technology in the classroom is a wonderful thing. I only wish that teachers ae given proper training, so it will eliminate the fear that some old time teacher may have about new technology. Also proper traing will allow teachers to pass it onto the student properly. This way student will be train to use the internet as a helpful tool. Today you see student using the internet to get back at other student, either by spreading bad e-mails or using tools like "YouTube" to bully others. Teachers can teach about cyber ethics.

Teaching your children acceptable behavior on the Internet
What is cyber ethics? And how do you teach it to your children? Simply put, cyber ethics is a code of behavior for using the Internet. One easy way to think about cyber ethics and to address the subject with children is this: acceptable behavior on the Internet is very much the same as acceptable behavior in everyday life.

If the Tools of Web 2.0 are used properly it could be a wonderful thing.

Cyberethics is a necessary topic. Too many people view the Internet as the way for them to get their "15 minutes of fame", so they post themselves doing all kinds of stupid and careless things. Our students definitely need to understand the dangers and responsibilities of posting to the web.
