I am a library teacher and am currently taking classes to complete a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. My job involves working with students at two different schools each week. The students are pre-kindergarten to fifth grade.

What is your favorite food?

What is your favorite type of music? Who is your favorite musician?

I like all kinds of music. I listen to country music on the radio but I play in the community band and also the community symphony.

What is your favorite place? why?

The library is my favorite place because it is full of books I haven't read.

What is your favorite holiday? why?

Christmas is my favorite holiday because my extended family all come for dinner at my house.

I teach reading skills in the library.

What would you advise others about teaching?

Only teach if you love it in your heart because there is not much money in it.
