About Me - What you should know about me...
I love my family. I love cooking and working out. I love teaching. I became a teacher and work in the area I work in because I wanted to make a difference where it was needed. I have some bad days and good days, but am so happy I made the decision to do something that makes me want to get up every morning!

FRUITS!!!!!!!
What is your favorite type of music? Who is your favorite musician?
All types except Hip Hop. I don't have a favorite musician
What is your favorite place? why?
Anywhere where my husband is with me.
What is your favorite holiday? why?
All days that I have off when my family does, is my favorite. I love waking up late and eating breakfast together.
What do you teach?:
I am a special education teacher. I teach 8th graders in a South Ozone Park. I teach all subjects.
Where do you teach?
South Ozone Park, Queens New York
What would you advise others about teaching?
It is not an easy job, but like most will tell you, It is very rewarding! The hours are great if you have a family, but make sure to never take home the troubles at work and vice versa. If you ever get sad or down, if something does work or a student curses you out, just remember the bigger picture; You are touching the future. Your influence, your good influence is needed and never forget that.

Hi everyone!!! I am new to this page. I am trying to get to know teachers not only from my school but from all over the world. Just wanted to say Congrats for becoming a teacher! I teach 8th grade special ed and as tough as it is for me, it is so rewarding. Hopefully by getting to know more teachers, I will learn a few new things to become a better teacher.

Although I was born and brought up in America, mostly in NY, I am very much a "desi" as some would like to say. Both my parents are from Bombay, India. They came here to give their children a better life. Although they moved here and I was born here, I have stayed very true to my roots. I simply love Hindi songs and watching Bollywood Movies.
