In a nutshell, Pagwa is Hindu a celebration of colors and happiness which it represents Spring! We use colored dye or powder and place them others so that everyone could look like a garden of beatuiful colored flowers. So happy Spring and God bless.

I was in a taxi (a nice white taxi!) and the driver wanted it to stay white so managed a 5 hour trip in about 3.5 hours. Saw all the festivities from the car albeit rather quickly!
I visited a couple of National Parks and spent my time photographing wildlife - beautiful scenary. Where are you planning to visit?

Hi Evita,
I have just returned from India and witnessed Holi at first hand. The throwing of colour was incredible and some people ended up completely covered.

Evita - Your site is great, and full of cool visuals. I better get going on adding some more personal stuff. I just got married myself in December but we took our 'honeymoon' back in August. Went to Italy. What a great culture. We were in Bologna for a few weeks and they were featuring Indian movies and live music. Ollie and the Bollywood Orchestra. You know them? Excellent concert.

Hi Evita, Hope you had a happy Easter too. Thanks for telling about another Indian celebration. I really find learning about different cultures fascinating

Hi Evita

Thanks for the comment. I am not familiar with classical Indian jazz. I know that a lot of classical Indian music is based upon a form of improvisation and that is something I am very interested in. I used to play bass and do the programming in a free jazz electro acoustic duo, but have not really had a lot of time to make music recently.

You play the Sitar as well as sing. Maybe we could collaborate on a track some time? I have quite a reasonable home studio that I have assembled over the years and we could maybe exchange soundfiles and create something over the summer.

Hello, Evita
Thank you for your reply. I love eating too. I link the most famous chain of curry restaurants in Japan "CoCo ichiban-ya" (I am a regular customer, but not a stockholer.) It is written in Japanese, but you may enjoy some pictures on it.
It is very nice that you will visit to Japan. I'm looking forward to seeing you !.

Hi, Evita:
The crepes can have a viariety of tastes, such as fruits, cheese, chocolates......even ice cream, vegetables or ham can be put in the crepes. Crepe is made with a pancake, then put the materials on it, finally rolling it up. The crepe I ate had peach, ice cream and cream in it.
