Cultural Appreciation from Ireland (Claddagh Ring)

My husband and I (both being of Irish descent) decided to exchange claddagh rings as wedding bands. There is a beautiful poem associated with this ring that goes like this:

"The hands are there for friendship,
The heart is there for love.
For loyalty throughout the year,
The crown is raised above".

Hi, Barbara, I am reading your blog and that's really great. What we are doing are really similar. We are helping teachers to use a social software named Haokanbu, which is developed in China, and on which information technology teachers can conduct their teaching. They can set up a group on it, then students participate by conducting research, then posting stories and pictures about their research, in order to clutivate students' information literacy and their collaborative ability. There are really some problems existed in it, for example, it is not compulsory for teachers, so many teachers just would like to look what others do instead of practice themselves. Have you ever encountered similar problems, and how did you deal with it?

Hi, Nice to meet you! I am really happy to know about you. I am still a graduate student, and some of my projects is about using information technology to facilitate teaching and learning. We are now conducting a program, in which teachers are encouraged to using social software in their teaching. I often help teacher conduct their instructional design, and participate in their online activity.
