Using Technology to engage students in the learning process
"When you engage students learning happens"
One of the challenges of teaching this generation of students is the competition with all the multimedia they are exposed to. They are well versed in video games, TV, iPods and computers. 21st Century educators must embrace technology to engage students so that learning will occur. Technologies can range from using word processing programs, to creating digital stories to using such social networks like ning.
